Older Comments about Untouched Talent...

So it appears that her first foal was a colt out of Unbrideled's song and he died in 2011. So glad that she was able to have a 2012 colt out of him also. Should be a great horse
It baffles me that this mare sold for 5 million when Arch's Gal Edith didn't even meet her reserve of $950,000. I guess people forgot who beat whom in both the Preakness and the Derby? And who will ultimately be named three year old champ? In an even more sickening twist, someone could've purchased both Arch's Gal Edith and her daughter Gloria S by Tapit for a little over a fifth of the cost of buying Untouched Talent. I'm not a bloodstock agent (not yet anyway) so maybe this is an ignorant comment, but I AM a conscious consumer, and I just can't wrap my brain around this.

  • kedez2012 · It just goes to show how much disrespect I'll Have Another got. American breeders didn't want to stand him, they don't want his dam or his sister, and he was never even the favorite in any of the races he ran in. It's depressing, given how brilliant he was and how desperately close he came to finally ending the Triple Crown drought · 909 days ago
  • cocoa2 · A mare tends to have one really good colt and the rest... good, but not the the par of the first. That is why the "blue hen" mares are so special · 909 days ago
even though she never raced, she is Bodemeisters mom so i love her
