What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Undrafted...

Undrafted, the 3-year-old colt owned by Wes Welker, who finished fourth as the favorite in the first division of the Oceanside Stakes on opening day, has shipped back east to trainer Wesley Ward.
Before the largest crowd to attend the races in California this year, 43,030, 5-2 Gervinho and 7-1 outsider Rising Legend shared honors by winning divisions of the featured Oceanside Stakes for grass loving three-year-olds on opening day Wednesday of the 2013 racing season at Del Mar.Read More
  • mdracing69 · Both divisions of the Oceanside Stakes saw dramatic late closing attempts fall just short, from Greeley Awesome in the first division and Gabriel Charles in the second division. It was Gabriel Charles who made the quicker move coming home, recording his final furlong in 11.00 seconds, while Greeley Awesome was fastest home in the first division, getting the final furlong in 11.57 seconds. Stretching over the final two furlongs, Gabriel Charles came home in a blazing 22.31 seconds, the fastest individual quarter-mile of any horse from the two heats. · 275 days ago ·

Undrafted, the morning line favorite in the sixth race, first division of the Oceanside Stakes, is owned by Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker. Bypassed in the NFL draft, Welker , a former Charger , went on to put up big numbers with the New England Patriots catching passes from Tom Brady and will be a target for Peyton Manning in the fall.

  • rafirox · Same, Jmac. I'd love for those damn Heat to lose. I like Dwyane Wade, but I can't stand LeBron. I hope Tim Duncan gets ring #5, I hope that it shows that you don't need three HOF's (wade, LBJ, Ray) and a good player (Bosh) to win, I hope if the Spurs win (hopefully) it will show that teamwork is far more important than having an arrogant superstar. I hope Dwyane Wade, my bro, will have a good game. I love Dwyane as a person (I know him personally), but I can't stand the Heat. I hope "Birdman" gets ejected for a flagrant (that dirty individual), I hope LeBron doesn't perform (to finally end the debate I've been having with my friend: HE IS NO WHERE NEAR AS GREAT AS MICHAEL)... I hope the Heat are up with 6:00 and let the Spurs take over late. I hope they suffer from a heartbreaking loss. LeBron doesn't deserve to win his 2nd. I don't love the Spurs (Tony Parker is a scumbag. Who cheats on Eva Longoria with a teammate's wife? That damn french ladies man :p) and I don't like Popovich very much either. Either way, I'll root for anybody against the Heat. · 303 days ago ·
