The 3yr.old son of Bernardini makes his 2011 3yr.old debut for trainer John Gosden in the Esher Cup at Sandown on Sunday. Treasury Devil was bought for a cool $1 million dollars by Andrew Lloyd and Lady Madeline Weber, owners of 2010 Sheema Classic winner, Dar Re Mi. Treasury Devil won 3 of 4 starts as a 2yr.old in 2010. With his only loss coming at Longchamp over Arc De Triomphe weekend when pitched in very deep in the G1 Prix Jean Luc-Lagardere. This is a really nice looking, and very talented colt with a real turn of foot. To see Treasury Devil on the racetrack, he looks very much like Bernardini did in his racing days. Having followed all 4 of Treasury Devil's starts in 2010, I'm very anxious to see how his run in the Esher Cup turns out at Sandown tomorrow. Really big fan of this colt, and he's very well trained by one of Europe's best in John Gosden.
