Worth Repeating – The California-based runner, who was one of three horses listed as 5-1 second choices for the Breeders’ Cup Marathon, was withdrawn from the race Friday morning by trainer Mike Machowsky. “After training yesterday morning he wasn’t quite right,” Machowsky said. “Last night I had m...Read More

  • andy.dean.9212 · The Feather will not be beaten in the Ladies Classic. I predict she'll win by at least two, probably more. That last little stakes was the perfect tightner, and she'll just glide over that speed favoring oval. It'll be flag fall to that's all, sitting chilly behind Questing, L&P, My Miss, or whoever wants to take up the running. And if everybody takes back then Jeffery can pull a Track Robbery from the 80s like P Val used to do. It's the most anticipated race of the two days for me, just to see her do her thing. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get 5 to 1, though perhaps they'll pound RD & the other contenders, assuming (wrongly) that she hasn't beaten anything. I'll be happy with 7/2 and above. · 536 days ago ·

Twist and turn, the knife grinds away below my right kidney like a garbage disposal looking for its next bit of dinner scraps. Where did it come from? Who stuck me like a dirty rat in the big house? After seeing him charging like a freight train at his first run at a mile at Santa Anita, I really think he has a leg up on any other shippers for the BC Turf. I am thinking it is going to be a great race, with my early favorites Trailblazer, Acclamation, Sea Moon, and Point of Entry. It would be great to see the Mile and turf won my American horses but it is going to be real tough!!
