Q of the D : who won the Derby the year you were born? Thunder Gulch is mine!
could he be stripped of his Derby win or is it a bit late for that?

  • LAZMANNICK · Many state that the fact that Dancer’s Image had Bute in his system and was DQ’d was a black eye for racing. The black eye, IMO, was not Dancer’s Image and his connections, but Churchill Downs and the way they handled the situation. It’s true too that Peter Fuller donated a portion of his winning purse to Mrs. King which at the time in Kentucky did not go over too well. · 826 days ago
i feel like this horse could have won the Triple Crown.
thunder rumble was brilliant, Holy bul was all heart
so GUYS; what happened with horse racing in the year you were born? i was born in 1995, Affirmed & Seattle Slew were still alive, Thunder Gulch won the Kentucky Derby & Belmont, Timber Country won the Preakness, & Cigar won the Breeder's Cup Classic. in 1995 Damascus, Caveat, Elocutionist, Kennedy Road, Onion, Quack, Sir Ivor, Vice Regent, Strawberry Road, & Tank's Prospect died. & Coronado's Quest, Vertigineaux, Real Quiet, Grand Slam, Indian Charlie, & Victory Gallop share a birth year with me.
