  • cocoa2 · Looks like he'll fall flat on his face. Good match for a big QH looking sprinter with a big butt · 1486 days ago
  • jay s. · Looks like an Appaloosa in reverse. Love him! · 1486 days ago
I miss watching The Factor race. Hope he is covering lots of mares at stud.
He´s retired and will stand at Lane´s End....
Not a bad come back race from Dubai.
Tough loss for him today.
  • travel_vic · this is after a layoff, yes? Not then surprising to have less of a later run than normal · 1763 days ago
  • Jmac500 · So many people say he's the best sprinter this year. · 1763 days ago
One of the best sprint horse in the country! The Factor has amazing speed a 7f in 1.19.89!

  • Footlick · To be fair, lots of horses go there and just can't handle that track. Racing post lists turf, dirt and synthetic ratings, but they qualify the Medyan numbers as entities unto themselves. · 1772 days ago
  • Cocoa2 · He would have won at Nad Al Sheba, but then this dirt/turf/plastic shit came out and it seems to be a whole new surface itself. Tapeta is hard to run on: do you really think So You Think would finish behind Monterosso on any other surface? · 1772 days ago
The Factor has worked twice at Hollywood Park since returning from Dubai. He fired a 3f bullet in :35 (1/32) on May 20 and went 4f in :47.80 (11/57) on May 26.
Had a terrible race!! He was in last most of the race!!

  • Armada · @Cocoa: ...try telling that to Ortensia in the Al Quoz Sprint. And as far as The Factor goes, yeah he ran a bad race. Just gotta get home and regroup and he'll be fine. · 1854 days ago
  • cocoa2 · You can't close without pace, and Meydan usually has no pace in it's races. · 1854 days ago
After he puts the beat down on everyone at the Golden Shaheen. Take him to england to put the beat down on black caviar at royal ascot. The coward connections knew he was going to be there and bowed out. Great horse BC but scared connections..

  • timgsmith10 · Maybe just get used to the fact that whenever a horse is babied by the handlers and doesnt travel/race vs best they will be compared to zenyatta.. maybe forever · 1855 days ago
  • zxswordxz · Whatever you do in the pass will be your legacy. Unfortunately, a lot of people will remember what Zenyatta connection did instead of remembering how great she could have been. Zenyatta was a great horse, bring me out of my seat to see her power. However, her connection decided to do thing differently with her. You will never see someone take the same shot at horse like, Citation, Native Dancer, Northern Dancer, Damascus, Dr Fager, Kelso, John Henny, Secretariat, Skew, Affirmed, Alydar, Lady Secret, Personal Ensign, RA, Curlin and etc. History is history, you can't change it. People will always refer to them and make comparison against it. You either like it or hate it. · 1855 days ago
On March 8, breezed a half mile in 48.60 (11/24) at Hollywood Park.
bill o'reilly cracked me up tonite. he showed the factor winning in the stretch in the san carlos, and said he is rooting for the factor to win the kentucky derby. bill better just stick to his 'fair and balanced' politics.

  • Cardly Knot · Good Night, Bill..sleep tight with your Rupert teddy bear. We can thank Bolton for the negative exposure. I'm glad I missed that feature - would've done a no no to the tv. · 1886 days ago
Holds off fast-closing Sway Away to win San Carlos. Amazombie third.
The Factor wins by a half length over Sway Away!!!
