Interesting renewal for this year's Coronation Cup. Other than the fact there's a couple of very talented horses from France who might be making the trek to Epsom in Cirrus Des Aigles & Flintshire, last year's Epsom Derby & Epsom Oaks winners, Ruler of the World & Talent, will be returning to the sight of their greatest triumphs to date to also knock heads in the Coronation Cup. The last time I can remember an Oaks & Derby winner from the season squaring off was when 2010 Oaks winner Snow Fairy & 2010 Derby winner Workforce met in the 2011 Coral-Eclipse, but both were beaten by So You Think. This is a very different proposition though in that they'll be returning to Epsom to face each other over the same 12f trip each won the Oaks & Derby over last season. Should be an interesting race for sure. Especially adding Cirrus Des Aigles into the mix who looks the more definite of the 2 French horses to run at Epsom.
Dani, Euro, or I Love Turf racing - Do you think she could be a Gold Cup horse for her connections at the upcoming Ascot meet in June?

Wow! Very impressed with her run in the English St. Leger. She was 10 lengths behind the leaders (Cap O' Rushes & Leading Light) for most of the race, then in the final 4 furlongs when she went to move forward she got hampered mid-field before finally finding enough space through and closing in on Leading Light rather swiftly by the end. She was 1 1/4 lengths behind Leading Light when he crossed the line. She may have gotten 2nd, but I think she's proven that she really is a great filly and her name suits her perfectly. :)
