Love this horse. If he hadn't been drugged in the Futurity, he'd have gone 15/15 like Colin.

  • amino998 · Sysonby resides in the Who Am I archives as one of the longer contests :D · 1028 days ago
  • buckpasser · Thanks amino. That is interesting, but rather sad as he was one of the greatest horses of the time. · 1028 days ago
Speaking of deadheats, Sysonby dead heated with Race King in the 1905 Metropolitan Handicap.

  • SSilence86 · Thanks Bp & Goblin. I had read somewhere one time that Lexington was on loan at the KHP until Aug of this year. Then recently I had read in a couple of different articles that he was "home" or permanently resided at KHP. Wasn't sure which was true. · 1086 days ago
Would have been undefeated if his groom hadn't drugged him. Rowe still liked Colin better.
Underrated, in my opinion. He sure was a nice little horse.
