  • dipak1 · 2011 kentucky derby is over, i am very disappointed with jockey Julien Leparoux piloting Dialed In in a very sluggish way left him 50 lengths behind the leaders without realizing that it is not a ordinary race, it is world famous Kentucky Derby and it is not a play ground, no horses yet own this kind of big races with a very big field and fast running horses ,own the race. it is kind ok joke to me that Leparoux play today in the derby field. it looks like he did'nt care too much about the race. shame on him! · 386 days ago ·

  • icyhotboo · dipak1 it's almost impossible for a deep closer like DI to close on a tepid pace as shown today.If someone had told me the early fractions would be that slow I would have laughed. Leparoux is one of the best but he also needs a horse and a deep closer NEEDS a fast pace so the front runners come back to him as well as him gaining ground. · 386 days ago ·

With the crop of horses headed to Louisville it's a shame that Ducky was routed to the UAE for that stupid 13th place finish! Had the Chechen meglomaniac opted properly to keep Ducky in the States Ducky would be going to Louisville with a real shot at roses! So, where is Ducky headed next?
Brown also had news of Sweet Ducky, who finished in rear in the UAE Derby, also carrying the colours of Ramzan Kadyrov.

Am I alone on this or does anyone else agree with me that the Chechen leaser Whatshisface took a perfectly legitimate Kentucky Derby contender and shipped him halfway 'round the planet for NOTHING! If the Chechen Prez wanted to have a good time he should have left Ducky in the US then booked a flight from Russia to Louisville on May 3rd or 4th to enjoy spring with Ducky in a setting where Ducky had a chance. Dear Mr. Chechnya HORSES are NOT MAC?HINES! You cannot expect a transported animal to be at his best after a 10,000 mile trip to strange places where no one speaks or acts like they do in the US (sorry, a little ethnocentrism here). I'm starting to feel better about this horses chances this Saturday in the UAE Derby. He's unproven on the Tapeta surface, but Sky Mesa is by Pulpit and Sky Mesa has produced Synthetic winners. General Quarters loved the Keeneland Poly track and now is a turf horse. You have Sky Diva who finished third at Santa Anita in 2008 in the Juvenile Fillies.Wonderlandbynight in won a stakes down at Woodbine, and the list goes on. So Sweet Ducky might handle or like the track. I'm not so sure on how he's adapted to the weather down there though. And his fitness is a question mark because, Breen wasn't planning to have the horse ready by the 26th, but we'll have to wait and see. I think he's a talented horse. the Derby is still a possibility. If he does well in Dubai, he's moving up on my list.

He looked incredible when he beat Musir in the Firebreak Stakes and set a Meydan track record for a mile on tapeta in that race. I put him up as the most likely winner of this year's Godolphin Mile that day. But with this extremely wide P.P draw, it could certainly make thing's very difficult for Skysurfers.
