  • icyhotboo · He had a perfect trip(understatement),was in against sprinters with the exception of two who made their first start of 2011,Jaycito and Awsome Patriot ,how could he look bad? Still don't know where he's at as CTTT could only bring him a mile before he was through. That left him even better than "loose on the lead" as the only horse in the race who could get the distance of 1 1/16 mile.He looked good but others still have to be heard from. · 442 days ago ·

  • footlick · As usual Baffert used this race to get a feel for Jaycito. Look for a mucj improved race next out. Premier Pegasus looked good. Comma did well after being close to that ridiculous pace. · 442 days ago ·

This year's San Felipe is a wide-open affair that figures to answer all kinds of questions. Will we see the Jaycito that won the Norfolk last year? Can Bench Points go two turns and be this year's Caracortado? What happened to Comma To The Top last time? Are maiden winners Runflatout and Albergatti ...Read More

  • footlick · You would have expected Sway Away to run past The Factor on the gallop out, but didn't happen. The Factor actually rebroke. That's why Baffert expects him to be able to stretch to at least 8.5 furlongs. Could have just folded up like the other pace horse, but kept going. Have to give him credit. If the race was longer, I don't think the fractions woud have been that taxing and that would have changed the whole complexity of the race · 461 days ago ·
