sold in foal to MDO for $1.95
Summer Soiree remains the only female Graded Stakes winner for her sire War Front.
Team Valor retired her and she'll be sent on a date with Medaglia 'Oro for the 2013 breeding season, enjoy your new career SS.
Summer Soiree has a tough task ahead in a few minutes. What a terrific field in the Ballston Spa. She's been gone a while, but have to respect Motion if he's put her in this G1 for first start of 2012.
Like this horse for a mile or 7 f.
I love you, Summer Soiree!
My love forever ;*
Team Valor acquired Summer Soiree and she is now under the care of Graham Motion. She is off to Keeneland to prepare for the Kentucky Oaks.
I think Summer Soiree should point towars the Ashland. The Bourbonette didn't seem like it was a very strenuous race on her, so the Ashalnd Stakes seems like a good sport for her. I don't like the 6 week gap between races for the Oaks. She's only raced two time this year, and i think she needs another race. She's a very talented filly and I think she's one of the best fillies in the Country.
  • dubby30 · I don’t think that the horse prepping again on a synthetic surface would benefit her at all, but yes I do agree that Larry Jones seems to put himself in precarious situations with horses running in races that are helter skelter when it comes to the schedule leading up to big events, 6 weeks off with no prep in between would leave this horse quite short, just as Friesan Fire was left short in the Derby off the 6 weeks before the Derby in 09 · 1484 days ago
  • bigbrown2332 · I dont like the idea of prepping on Poly either. But that might be the only other option. Joyful Victory looks like she'll start at Oaklawn in the Fantasy. The Comely stakes might look like a good spot though. · 1484 days ago
A recent romping winner at Oaklawn, is pointing for the Martha Washington next.
