  • goblin · These fan-generated lists are highly subjective (as opposed to objective), but Ride On Curlin does deserve a place toward the top at this point in time. It's a bit silly to have two colts in the top 15 that have never even started. ROC has done well; posting a work yesterday, BTW, at Churchill, of 5f. in 1:01, 5/21, breezing. · 206 days ago ·

  • jinlie01 · looks like Solitary Ranger and Almost Famous will be the front runners. Not sure if they can stay the distance. Tamarando is definitely the top contender with his record on synthetic and experience with top prospects from CA. But taking a shot with We Miss Artie (4-1 ML) and Poker Player at decent odds..and adding Smart Cover as a longshot..not sure if he can handle these at this point but worth a small bet and exotics play especially at 20-1 or higher. · 26 days ago ·
  • tmallios1 · I do not like Tamarando,in his last win where he was used hard. The horse regressed on his speed figure. If he were the real deal,he would of gone forward. Sorry Sullivan,he still could win this. Other than 1 or 2 others in the field, this is a bad bunch running for half a Million. · 26 days ago ·
huge race for smart cover...i will be rooting for him to have a safe and strong race.....very optimistic
  • UpInClass · I picked up this runner @ 75-1 in the Kentucky Derby Future Book in Las Vegas last weekend... from the moment I saw his run in the Iroquois Stakes, I knew I had found my Kentucky Derby horse... a 1st or 2nd place finish in the Spiral Stakes gets SMART COVER into the Starting Gate the first Saturday in May! · 28 days ago ·
  • Sullivan · Question here is, if he couldn't get up at Churchill Downs after a pace meltdown, when can he? · 28 days ago ·

Whomping Willow might be ready to build on her early promise tomorrow in Gulfstream's featured $75,000 Any Limit Stakes for 3-year-old fillies. • Sully · Storming Inti looks tough. Who can run with him early? Looking for a gate-to-wire win from the rail. · 48 days ago ·
  • jinlie01 · Storming Inti is definitely the lone speed/pacesetter..I can see him controlling the pace throughout but with his expected short price and hoping Gala Award applies some pressure...taking a shot with Mr. Speaker (he can be in stalking position) and intrigued with Smart Cover's return. · 48 days ago ·
Smart Cover, injured running second to stablemate Cleburne in the Iroquois (G3) at Churchill Downs last fall, returns to the races in Saturday’s $150,000 Palm Beach (G3) on the Gulfstream Park turf. Read More
I like this guy an awful lot, saw on Twitter his goal right now is the Blue Grass and he's been working steadily.
Trainer Dale Romans issued an upbeat bulletin on Monday morning about several of his newly turned 3-year-olds. • CauseForConcern · The skinny on Ride On Curlin, as well as the top two finishers, would be that Ellis Park seems to be a good prep track for either Churchill, or the 2-year old division. Add in the third place finisher had ran second to Strong Mandate at Saratoga(who went on to win the Hopeful) gives more credence to those that prepped at Churchill. · 220 days ago ·
