  • icyhotboo · I did like the rider change and he looked great before the race. I used him as my saver but screwed it up as I played exactas with him on top because I felt I needed more than 7/2 with him but I didn't have ST, I was a bit concerned betting Fort Larned as he had never gone that far before and even 1/16 mile makes a difference. He never passed ST so maybe it just wasn't his day not the distance. IDK I didn't realize until after looking that those two finished the same way last year. I love Rosie but Rosario is so much stronger and last race before this she let him drift way wide taking RTG with her.It was a fun day, looking forward to the BC now. Brian do you happen to know what the pick four would have paid if your ticket hit with the #1, or #5? Just curious. · 231 days ago ·

Many racing fans are prepared to state emphatically that Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra are two of the best, if not THE best, fillies of the past half-century. The list from which to chose, however, is longer than most think. Below is a reminder just how extensive that list is. With almost half the y...Read More

  • DeadHeat · This, the KY oaks and Alabama are the three big ones for fillies, IMO. If Plum Pretty scores she is back on top, but beware of Delta, who is ultra talented , and Trick who loves NY. · 668 days ago ·

  • KyOaksRunner · I agree, a win from any one of the five fillies enetered makes them a tough contender for the divisional title. Buster's Ready and Joyful Victory would have to prove more than the other three but would still be in with a good shot. · 668 days ago ·

While doing my daily surf thing the other day, I noticed that a poster on Thoroughbred racing brought up the subject of his Top 10 Fillies of All Time. This got me to wondering, which were mine? So with pen and notepad (remember those?) I began jotting down names. My brain went on tilt when I reache...Read More

  • Thead'or · My favorite filly has always been Landaluce. I'm dissapointed that she has so few votes. In only 5 races she proved herself to be one of the greatest fillies of all time. You can geuss why I'm an avid Rachel fan. She reminds me so much of how Landaluce was. · 865 days ago ·
