  • cocoa2 · The IRA has become a joke, I hope this muddling the British are doing won't bring it back to action. The Good Friday Agreement is weak enough and Derry's barbed wire is yet to come down · 1237 days ago
  • Buckpasser · North port. When my firm represented the Hunt Brothers in their attempt to corner the silver market, we went to Italy for depositions because of the varied nationalities of the people in league with the Hunts in their endeavor. The Hunts were involved with mine owners in Peru and Brazil, Libyan officials including Ghaddafi, Saudi Princes and Many other people. At the time I was surprised at how far reaching the influence the Hunt Brothers had. And I assume the McMurtys had the same. · 1237 days ago
It's a shame more people don't know about this horse. His end was tragic, but his racing career was amazing. He was an incredible animal and a true champion!
  • Buckpasser · Many people on this site may not know this horse that well, but I can assure you that anyone who saw him person well remembers him. · 1364 days ago
Cried when i watched this movie. I know that it isn't fully true about him surviving, which made me tear up all the more. How and why would anyone do anything like that? They didn't even get the ransom
