Sustained no instabilities or visible injuries per Dr. Bramalage via Claire Novak
I just can't go against him in the Met Mile but Vyjack scares me in this one!

  • Northport · Would love to see Moreno hit the board - may need a miracle though · 783 days ago
  • yukichan · Finger crossed for him--vanned off, being examined. · 783 days ago
My pick to win the Met Mile. (but I will be rooting for Palace Malice)

  • travel_vic · THIS one is a very good price horse, BRAVO · 784 days ago
  • rafirox · This guy is a really nice horse. He has a chance (as do so many others!!!). Just a tremendous field -- top to bottom. · 784 days ago
From Churchill: "Dennis Cardoza and Mike Pegram’s Shakin it Up, runner up in the Churchill Downs (GII) last out, posted a 1:12, six-furlong work."
He had no were to go!! there were no holes for him! He had so much energy!!!! So Sad
If baffert and Pegram are seind secret circle to Dubai, they should of sent Shakin it up to and enter him in the mile cause hes ran really well on our synethic surfaces
  • Sullivan · ... he lost to weak stakes horses over a track that doesn't resemble Meydan even moderately. As far as Dubai, surface is not the question but fitness. If you can stay in front until the top of the stretch, you win. Look at last year's card. Almost all winners were within 3 lengths of the lead at the stretch. · 876 days ago
  • Northport · I think it may be better for Baffert and Pegram to spread around their (pretty damn nice) roster of horses. May be better to send one to Dubai and keep the others at home for the big races here - it's kind of a dream situation (for me a least) · 876 days ago
should win the San Carlos.

  • tcglory · When you show that much talent as a horse winning a g1 your expected to at least be a factor in your next race even off a layoff and he didnt show anything and for a closer he couldnt even catch 1 horse · 877 days ago
  • tmallios1 · Sahara Sky figures to teach these guys a little lesson on Saturday. Don't get much easier than this, especially whenit is a G2 race and they are giving away $250K. At least Joels visit back to his original home ,will not be a total loss. · 877 days ago
Amino,he is as cold as the North Pole on the board. Boots is whispering his name.

  • amino998 · Now if Boot's could only figure out where the info leak is :D · 923 days ago
  • tmallios1 · No leak there Blabs. When they saw 6-1 on the board, they all lost their Poker faces and started doing cartwheels. They loved it when Hollendorfer was being bet like they already took his picture.Either wy,these are only the appetizers from what Boots is telling me. Personally, the one i am salivating for is Stone Cold next Saturday at Gulfstream Park in the Holy Bull. · 923 days ago
This guy snd Govenor Charlies have me beyond excited for the rest of the older horse races this year. Wouldn't mind seeing them slug it out all year especially at 7 Furlongs and Classic distances.
  • yukichan · Charlie looked great in his return. A salty place to make his return, safe to say, he put his doubters to bed. · 923 days ago
Jan 12th - Worked 6F in 1:14.60 (10/23) at Santa Anita on the dirt.
ZATT's Star of the Week, is ... Shakin It Up!
I never bought into the hype for Flashback. Shakin is up was my favorite of Baffert's 2013 crop. Glad to see him back, thrilled to see him come back a winner.

  • jmac500 · Flashback is still good. · 946 days ago
  • striped mentality · Perhaps, they need to find the right spot for him. He is not the superstar that he was being made out to be earlier this year though. · 946 days ago
He looked so good and showed his daddys flashy closing kick to get the win.
.... Where'd he go? Just when he started getting interesting he dissappeared *poof*
Skakin it Up drilled 6f bullet in 1:10.20 (1/12) at SA on 3-13
65-1 in KY Derby Future Wager #2!! If there is such a thing thats great "value" for the future bet!!
I do think horses that have midnight lute in their blood are silencing the critics, this one looked really good in his win.
Midnight Lute ..two days...three winners!

  • goblin · I think Big Lute is tomorrow in the Southwest; Mylute next weekend at FG. Anyway, Midnight Lute is on a roll... · 1258 days ago
  • cocoa2 · His son Mylute isn't that bad either. · 1258 days ago
Decent win. I lost bad on Belvin :(..... Nice win, however, I think he is NOT a derby horse, but he has the looks of a good, competitive shorter distance horse.
  • yukichan · Three lenghts or so covered the lot, first to last place finishers.... · 1258 days ago
  • rafirox · Yea. Wide open contest. Belvin did show some heart, but he just wasn't good enough. Shakin It Up was my posst parade pick, but I didn't bet anything on him, whicch I regret. Beautiful horse, nice win. But, I say with al due respect, I don't see him being a factor down the trail. However, he has nice potential. · 1258 days ago
