  • travel_vic · loved the "flight of the flamingos" where some guy ran out there beating on a big metal pot to get them to all lift off together. · 891 days ago
  • Holly bullsheet · yes! and remember how "Miami Vice" evoked the flying flamingos in its show opener? that opening also featured jai alai, if I'm remembering correctly. the Miami area was something: horses, greyhounds, jai alai ... lots of $$ to be lost in a small radius. · 891 days ago

What happened to this guy?
  • RichChatter · I am wondering as well. · 966 days ago
  • zXSwordXz · Bad leg and has been taking therapy but I don't think that works because I heard no news about him even in training. · 965 days ago
what are the reasons for this colt has points?
i have personally seen him train, great horse
I am very happy to report that Secretariat's Glory is back in training in Ocala and will return to Gulfstream Park in 3/4 weeks.
no workout in over 3 weeks..that's never good

  • Michaelabelle · I read on his owner's facebook page that it will be another 6-8 weeks before he can go back to training due to a tendon issue. But My Storm Trooper will be racing again soon. · 1115 days ago
  • travel_vic · no PUBLISHED work outs....MANY have acess to private tracks and swimming pools...Just because it is NOT PUBLISHED does not mean tere were none. · 1115 days ago
If he runs half as good as his pedigree suggests, then we are all in for a treat. A TC winner two gen. back and an *almost* TC winner 2 gen back also. The anticipation is making me crazy! lol
on September 22, Secretariat's Glory worked 4F at Gulfstream Park on Fast Dirt in :49.30 b finishing 51/105.
looking forward to this
Anymore news on SG? Also does anyone know which race he will be placed in?

  • CierraJanay · Thank you, I was hoping it was sooner than Nov and Dec lol But whatever it takes to make him ready than by all means. · 1176 days ago
  • zXSwordXz · Looks like it is going to be in October. There is a strong possibility that he will run in October at Gulfstream Park. If he is ready, I say let him run but if he need more time, I hope the allow him to grow/mature and run his race. · 1175 days ago
What a pedigree

The reason for all the problems is that the woman has no money

He's dropped quite a bit today. Was his workout time yesterday unexceptional? Forgive my ignorance, I pretty much joined just to follow this coldt. I'm a huge Secretariat fan and would love to see him do well. But I'm not that knowledgeable about training times.

  • jonquil · Ah, well on the page it's labeled as a video of them breezing, so I just put breezing since it's there on the official page like that. *shrug* I figured he was doing at least some training with Eversole since Eversole is, as far as I know, My Storm Trooper's trainer and it looked as if the owner hadn't settled on a permanent trainer for Secretariat's Glory. Thanks for the trainer update and I hope you'll link to the write up you plan to do here. · 1187 days ago
  • Michaelabelle · Thank you all for your comments. I can't wait to see how he does when he starts racing. · 1187 days ago
