What the Nation is saying about Say A Novena...

If, like Ricky Bobby, your mantra is, “I wanna go fast,” then be sure to tune in for the Summit of Speed. If that doesn’t satisfy your speedy tendencies, then nothing will.Read More
  • BrianZipse · With Hansen sticking with routes for now, looks like I will have to wait to see him and Trinniberg hook up. I expect Trinniberg to win which ever race he enters in the Summit of Speed. · 317 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · I have to agree with you there, Brian. Throw out the Derby, and he's undefeated this year, all in graded stakes. I would like to see Hansen and Trinniberg hook up, too. · 317 days ago ·

  • Floridaf · Scott, I almost wonder if the stumble at the start made Hansen panic a little bit. Up until yesterday, he had never been behind another horse, so my theory is that when he saw he was behind, he panicked, sprinted forward, and continued on in such fashion to remain in front even though he wasn't pressured early. JUST a theory, though. A lot of people are wanting to write off the colt on account of this race, but I believe it's too soon for that. And if I haven't said, let me just put it out there that I think Algorithms ran a great race. On account of the Hansen debacle, he is not getting nearly enough credit for the win. · 475 days ago ·

Sacristy may have given the bettors who sent her to the starting gate as their 6-5 favorite a few uneasy moments during the early running of Sunday’s $100,000 Old Hat Stakes (G3), but the 3-year-old filly looked much the best in the Gulfstream Park stretch while edging clear by 1 ¾ lengths. “She was...Read More
