Nice to see him back in the winner circle.
Belmont Stakes winner Ruler On Ice, most recently 4th in the Travers, has been installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite for Saturday's Pennsylvania Derby from Parx Racing. Read More

  • CauseForConcern · As for the rain forecast, Ruler On Ice does have the experience, but, THAS has never been over a sloppy oval. His sire has produced 30% mud winners, which is a very high percentage. So, therefore, despite the fact that he's never seen a sloppy track, I believe he might be there, based on his sire's mudder% winners. Let the race begin!!!! · 939 days ago ·

  • Protagonist · Hey Coggins whoo's laughing now, THAS, proved to be the key foe in Stakes Record Time! Ruler On Ice did have something to say ,he finished second, and Rattlesnake Bridge was Third! Where is Rush Now? His Rushing Skills are about as good as the Chicago Bears,as they couldn't contain GREEN BAY! · 934 days ago ·

Denied a sweep of Arlington Park's Mid-America Triple by a strong European contingent in the August 13 Secretariat S. • MichaelPavelick · Just watched Infrattini on video in the Matt Winn S. Dangerous colt. I think he could be minor grade 2 company, and looks like a real nice grade 3 colt, not sure if hes ready for $750,000 grade 2. Slight class disadvantage. He could be a shocker, I don't completely rule him out. · 987 days ago ·

Why is this horse not ranked higher as he has the best 3YO Equibase speed figure to date?

  • xMystix · Since he won in the Spend a Buck, I can kind of see him take it on in the Haskell. The Spend a Buck was in Monmouth, so I'm assuming that he will stay at Monmouth for the big race. I am not entirely sure, though. Just a possibility. · 1053 days ago ·

  • redskin · I imagine he may run in a GII or GIII as a prep to the Haskill. Maybe the Pegasus which is run at Monmouth, Matt Winn (CD) or Iowa Derby as a prep before he takes on the task of the Haskill · 1044 days ago ·

He’s never been an A-Lister. He wasn’t bred in Kentucky’s bluegrass, purchased for big money, or sent to one of our sport’s name trainers. • ajump08 · J P's Gusto should not be forgotten in the Rebel. Many will look at the likes of Astrology, Sway Away, Elite Alex, Alternation, and Archarcharch; and throw this one out saying he's simply not a two turn horse. J P is very versitile, and arguably could have been the best of the Southwest with his troubled trip. He's obviously thriving in Arkansas with his bullet work today in 59.40. · 1131 days ago ·
