LAZMANNICK · I somehow had a feeling that this would be your favorite. This one was always mine. What a closing effort from Runaway Groom, Canada's best three year old who would shine by upsetting America's best three year olds. He was second in the Queen’s Plate before winning the lengthily Prince of Wales and then the Breeders Stakes on turf, the 2nd and 3rd jewels in the Canadian Triple Crown. He came so close to being a great trivia question, what TC winner defeated the winners of three TC races in one race. I enjoy your nostalgic visits back to the good old days. · 165 days ago ·
