  • goblin · I don't know anything about Jeff Fell per se, but I've always thought many of the top riders were emotionally/psychologically damaged before they ever began riding professionally. What a closing effort from Runaway Groom, Canada's best three year old who would shine by upsetting America's best three year olds. He was second in the Queen’s Plate before winning the lengthily Prince of Wales and then the Breeders Stakes on turf, the 2nd and 3rd jewels in the Canadian Triple Crown. He came so close to being a great trivia question, what TC winner defeated the winners of three TC races in one race. I enjoy your nostalgic visits back to the good old days. · 1047 days ago ·
