What the Nation is saying about Ruler Of The World...

In this first edition of Road to the Million, we will delve into the main players – the big shooters, if you will – who look to possibly take aim on Arlington International Racecourse’s premier event, as well as its three supporting events. Ruler of the World tweeked a muscle during yesterday's work at home in Ireland and is out of Saturday's G1 Coronation Cup.
The interest purchased in Ruler of the World by Al Shaqab Racing just prior to the Dubai World Cup has been sold back to John & Susan Magnier, so Ruler of the World is once again owned entirely by Coolmore.

  • Northport · As of now, Ruler of the World is still owned by Coolmore and Al Shaqab... · 36 days ago ·
  • jonquil · The Racing Post occasionally will have errors on horse profile pages. I've noticed this a few times so unless there's some sort of news release elsewhere on the site or a press release or some sort of source I wouldn't use that as a definite sign. · 36 days ago ·

A NIGHT of near misses for Godolphin ended with the ultimate triumph as African Story led home a one-three for Sheikh Mohammed's operation, with his brother Sheikh Hamdan owning the second Mukhadram. i honestly think he has the PERFECT pedigree to win the World Cup. little bit of dirt influence, little bit of turf. lets hope i'm right!!!!
  • yukichan · Joseph was pretty underwhelming in his description of ROTW's chances. Hard to come into this caliber of a race without any type of a prep of a layoff like his. And then there's the PP. I suspect he'll move forward from here. I don;t think he'll hit the board-my money is on Sanshaawes/Akeed Mofeed... · 103 days ago ·
  • kaitlinefree1 · well i hope he surprises. i think he is better suited for synthetics versus turf. i like Military Attack here as well. · 103 days ago ·
my pick along with Military Attack & Ron the Greek for the DWC.
A 50% interest in Derby winner Ruler of the World has been sold to Sheikh Joaan al Thani's Al Shaqab Racing. He will now race in Sheikh Joaan's colours, but will continue to be piloted by Joseph O'Brien in all of his races, and if JOB isn't available then Dettori will step in. This is the second year in a row that Sheikh Joaan has bought a World Cup contender the week of the race, having bought eventual third place finished Planteur last year.
ruler of the world estará colocado.es una distancia perfecta.. pero pienso que ganará vancouverite. el hijo de dansili sin tanto palangón. military attack, prince bishop... en la llegada.
  • travel_vic · just showed the movie of the same name on Truner Classics with Vincent Price · 106 days ago ·
  • Sullivan · I agree he will like the distance, but think Ron the Greek has a shot too. Que piensas en el caballo de Los Estados Unidos, Ron the Greek? El le gusta la distancia. Gano tres tiempos antes. · 106 days ago ·

  • Euro Trash · @ILuvTurfRacing, yes. Criquette has said that previously, but it is a knife edge decision to wait until 4 yrs old, as many of the top 3 yr old fillies do not progress as 4 yr olds so they lose that weight advantage and then do not do as well. I think even with her inexperience, running as a 3 yr old is the best way to go if she is good enough. · 277 days ago ·
Who in the world is this bojo and why is he ranked #1 in for three races?
  • Mary Z. · Here ya go, for when they aren't North American runners, try this : racingpost.com I don't know what a bojo is or that's not what I call it. Chester Vase, Investec Derby winner. More at that link or news articles. · 376 days ago ·
  • ILuvTurfRacing · @mvrlose37, I think Ruler of the World gets turned over in the G1 Irish Derby on Saturday at the Curragh in Ireland. Possibly by Libertarian or Sugar Boy, IMO. · 376 days ago ·
In your opinion, who is the best three year old? (Trying to get those Euro coversations going ;) ).
