Entered in Saturday's San Fernando Stakes at 1 1/16 on Dirt. Should be at long odds but maybe return to dirt will help. Good to see they took him off turf races. Showed nothing in those races.

According to DRF: Cho’s horse Riveting Reason is nearing a comeback after being turned out in March with a hoof injury. He could start in coming weeks, Ayala said. Last year, Riveting Reason was third in two Grade 1 races – the Del Mar Futurity and Norfolk Stakes – before an eighth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.

Riveting Reason worked 3f this morning at Del Mar..posted 35.60...2nd fastest of day. Good start on comeback trail.
According to Raxon Cho Riveting Reason went through his first breeze earlier and all went perfectly. There is no published work, because the clockers could not get a time on him. Premier pegasus has been doing very well and is almost ready to fully start training. We are taking a lot time with him because we want to make sure he is 100% before we start training. Hopefully we will have him ready for the breeders cup, if not we will plan ahead into 2012.

According toRaxon Cho, stablemate riveting reason began training with an exercise rider this morning and will be working towards the breeders cup. Premier pegasus will begin training sometime next week.
