I just dont understand how he looked so good for so long in his prior two races and stopped like he was shot with his breeding.
  • https://www.facebook.com/paul.mcaleavey.1 · if he didnt crush that crew he shouldve been entered next at fl for 12500. I would like to see him loom large and run well in a route. He still did not run too fast at all. He ran quite slow. The rest should run at beulah. · 125 days ago

  • buzzcat859 · Timmy Hamm(Blazing Meadows Farm) must be sick after selling this horse afier the mountaineer race. PUKE!!!! · 218 days ago
  • Floridaf · Love this guy, but I don't think he will be a Classic runner. · 218 days ago
Rise Up is good horse, but i
With 4 wins out of 6 starts and his impressive win in the Delta Downs Jackpot, Rise Up is my pick for the Derby!
  • Sullivan · He doesn't look like he wants anything more than a mile... let us see how far Amoss can coax him to go · 232 days ago
  • ZenyattaLover132 · I've read an artical about Rise Up, and it said that Rise Up has been breezing a mile. I don't know if it's true or not, but I think it is. Plus, many people said Secretariat couldn't go cover the distance, and he ended up winning the triple crown! · 231 days ago
I'm very impressed with Rise Up. He ran very well in the Delta Downs Jackpot. Based on thorough study of his pedigree, he will most likely not get more than 8.5f or 9f, but he is certainly talented and has potential to be a quality miler.

  • Sullivan · I agree with the distance limitations. In that slug fest of an Iroquois, I think he showed us that the most he will ever get under pressure is 9f. If you want a good horse, try Coup de Grace. · 271 days ago
  • rafirox · I agree, Sullivan. Rise Up will never get anything more than 8.5f. I think he is very talented, but in terms of the Derby he is irrelevant. I'll take a look at Coup de Grace as I have not heard of him. Do you have a link to any of his races? · 271 days ago
Whoa he blew them off their feet again in a Stakes record but the announcer got ahead of himself with the Derby statement lol
  • Sullivan · Hopefully connections are smart and don't ask him to go too far. · 272 days ago
  • jmac500 · I like him but distance is a question. · 272 days ago
Nice Win by this good looking colt. Definitely a player for the late Rockport Harbor. Congrats to the connections
What a win in the Jean Lafitte.
