Pure Fun Collars Blonde Fog in Hollywood Starlet
Supplemented late at a total cost of $20,000, Pure Fun became a Grade I winner Saturday, rallying strongly in the final quarter of a mile to take the $500,000 Hollywood Starlet at Betfair Hollywood Park.

In her last race Pure Fun was a 9 length winner at Churchill Downs in an allowance on the dirt, she was coming off of 2 weeks of rest and also races without Lasix.

She has won on all 3 surfaces, looks to be better on dirt and synth surfaces.

Pure Fun with a big run to become a Starlet, but how about the performance of 2nd-timer, Blonde Fog? ... And Beholder might have been the biggest winner of all, as the 2012 Juvenile Filly Champion.

Why should Executiveprivilege be penalized for that stunt of her trainer? Besides, that math doesn't work out for me. She should still take the Eclipse.

She may not be all we want, but she is as close as we can get with her 5 wins, place and 4th. She is the Eclipse until someone else comes up

Blond Fog might turn out to be Bafferts best 3 year old, although I hope Executiveprivilege comes back strong next year. This race was going to settle who is the 2 year old filly champion, I expect Beholder to win pretty convincingly now.

Some additional points about Pure Fun: Including her debut, Pure Fun has started eight times, taking 4 tries to graduate. Since her first start on 6/24, she has run with the following days between races: 19, 29, 35, 26, 9, 35, 14! She has run without Lasix, and not having to worry about 30 days recovery time between races likely made it possible to concentrate on the best races for her continuing education. She now has won on 3 surfaces! She has run at 6 different tracks, with 5 in her home state, and one cross country! She is definitlely a filly to watch for 2013.

sure it's real easy to provide stats and so forth after the race is run, where was all this so called important info that is being written about now that the race was run, I think we call that handicapping after the race is run. As we all know this info was not said before the race because the sire winner was Excecutiveprivledge. Whatever with yor aftef race is run analysis
