Turkoman. Loved him! I "get" why Lady's Secret was voted Horse of the Year, but I really thought Turkoman had earned it, and deserved it.

  • travel_vic · Precisonists could NOT win at ANita THAT day with the pace scenario overloaded early. EACH race is a different challenge and out front alone on the lead at 10 is one thing but being pressed the whole way around in another. Good horse, but not in the pace scenario that day at that distance: Skywalker stood out. · 1562 days ago
  • travel_vic · Turkoman put on one the damdest sprints I have seen in some years in Florida and I think it was at old Hialeah, coming from absolutely dead last to get up in the final jump. Startling acceleration! · 1562 days ago
A very talented and beautiful horse. I saw him give Turkoman and Gate Dancer a run for their money in the Oaklawn Handicap.
