  • Herman'sKennel · Feather has a chance to Bookend the Breeders Cup...I want to live to see it , I have loved her for so long, I still remember rewinding that stallion stakes race over and over and over, telling my husband how wonderful she was and just about on her fouth win I said to him if she ships to the BC I am picking her... To Have loved a horse for so long and been able to meet her and kiss her and know heris the best gift, I have met Zenny and it was life changing, but Awesome is different, she is just such a determined girl, to comeback after 2, count them, 2 injuries, wow, what does that tell you?   • Mary Z. · That was April of '11. After missing the Kentucky Oaks(She was the probable favorite.), due to heat in her right knee, she had a chip removed from that knee and recovered at WinStar. Then, in August? of '11, she was shipped to Saratoga along with Uncle Mo, and I think she may have worked out through March of this year, but her recovery was predicted to take much longer than U.M.'s, and I think she just was not able to make a comeback to the track. No factual reports of R Heat Lightning having been bred. · 241 days ago ·

  • Mike in SB · Uncle Mo will need everything to go right to make the Kings Bishop and it will be a very tough race if he does start. I would like to see them give him the rest of the year off and bring him back as a 4 year old. He could be trained at their own schedule and it would be great for racing to have a star older horse in the big handicap races.
