  • ILuvTurfRacing · Presious Passion was a real warrior throughout his career. You'll rarely see a horse with more heart than he had. That said, IMO, his retirement is long overdue. He hasn't been that same Presious Passion that gave the mighty Conduit all he wanted with change in the 2009 BC Turf for a long, long time now. As near as I can tell, his downward spiral started in the 2010 Sheema Classic in Dubai, when he ran a much poorer race than expected that night, and it really never recovered after that. After that 09' BC Turf, he never really gave a great effort again in top graded stakes race. There's no question that Presious Passion was, and still is all heart. But the last several races of his career sort of tarnished what was otherwise a fantastic middle distance turf career. I wish him well. · 341 days ago ·

I actually thought that with the win in the Arlington Million, that he had potential of becoming the Horse of the Year in 2009 because of his magnificent season at the time. I've always loved him. Saw him run in and win the Virginia Derby, bet on him to win, and haven't turned my back on him since :). Plus, he's been a sound horse and one that keeps running. · 652 days ago ·

Poor Mr.Passion. An old warrior running against fresh, young horses. The best he could do was a 6th, but hes still a winner in my book. The greatest Turf gelding we've seen in a long time. His heart is bigger than the sun!
