Since this Filly ran big in the Alabama, I'm "smelling" a trifecta play in the Travers keying on the same trainer Tony Dutrow and his colt J W Blue. What does HRN members know about Tony Dutrow? I think J W Blue along with Stay Thirsty make trifecta keys in the Travers.

  • MichaelPavelick · "No Factor race" is a useful effort. In the proper company it keeps the horse racing sharp, but the lower effort by the horse also keeps him fresh. Dreamy Kid has worked on the grass twice since the WV derby. He will run HUGE in a graded grass race, proving the WV derby was just a work out. The epitome of "No Factor" races is Stay Thirsty races after the Gotham, and before the Belmont. I called him in the Belmont. You had to be a SUPER SHARP handicapper to realize Pletcher's conservative style made him stick to the original plan of saving Stay Thirsty for the Belmont (because of his Gotham victory that qualifies for the Belmont), and just letting him perform a "No Factor" race in the Kentucky derby after Uncle Mo scratched. · 1935 days ago
