  • medlocke · What a super race-mare Prince Khalid Abdullah has in Proviso. Having now reeled off three consecutive Grade 1 wins in a relatively short time in America. It could have actually been four Grade 1 wins if her victory at Keenland in the Spinster Stakes had stood. But the Stewards D.Q.'d Proviso in that race and placed her second. Moving Mushka up to 1st. Proviso has definitely gotten better and more seasoned with age. This mare from Great Britain has raced, and raced well, the likes of Zarkava and Goldikova back when all were younger in 2008. But it's been in America that Proviso has really flourished and come into her own. · 1439 days ago ·

  • tweeter · and in regards to not beating Quality Road in the Met Mile he was gaining on him and if other trainers would have taken there shots at him other than ian wilkes with warriors reward and derek ryan with musket man instead of letting him go 45 and change to the half ,, mm might have had a shot to beat him..... john Velasquez was all out to hold him off...5 other trainers were so in awe of Quality Road that they told there jockeys to ride to get a piece.... Musket Mans crew should enter a rabbit if he goes to the Whitney and ensure a solid pace,,,,, · 1465 days ago ·

  • mdracing69 · Quote from Bill Mott: “I’d probably want to try the Diana [Grade 1, $500,000, 1 1/8 miles on July 31 at Saratoga Race Course] with her. She has run longer races. She won the Spinster at a mile and an eighth but got DQ’d.” · 1495 days ago ·
