I love my home girl:)
I didn't know she delivered a filly by Distorted Humor, interesting.http://www.paulickreport.com/news/bloodstock/peppers-pride-delivers-distorted-humor-filly/

All I can say is Peppers Pride is not good enough to compare to Zenyatta, Rachel, Rapid Redux. But she sure is good enough to bash!!

  • 3e3e · Here we go again. Rapid Redux has a record of 18 straight victoires which is really good in any person's book. I know and I think everyone knows he is running in allowence races and that some of us think he needs to move up to graded stakes races. My point is don't trash a horse without a reason. · 1256 days ago
  • icyhotboo · There is no valid reason for trashing any horse as the top can't exist without the bottom. · 1256 days ago
If you have a good horse, then what is the point of not challenging them?

  • ugozenyatta · Thats a little harsh · 1289 days ago
  • RuffianIŁourdes · Not really. She only had 6 races in last year and just check Rachel in 2009. She had many races, with a tough competition. And you idiots are even asking why Rachel won the HOTY in 2009. · 1288 days ago

Had a 2011 Distorted Humor filly, was bred back to him this year
If she never won a grade 1 race or raced in a grade 1 race how is she better than Zenyatta. Besides being unbeaten.

  • footlick · Brittany- you will learn to ignore many, many comments about Zenyatta on here. Many people are upset with her connections for not challenging her more, but they take it out on how they rate the horse, as if she had anything to do with where she ran. My advice is to just either ignore tham or stay out of the discussion entirely. I chose just to stop. · 1344 days ago
  • sdnaples · Dubby rated Zenyatta a 4 so he obviously does not know what he is talking about · 1344 days ago
I think this girl deserves more credit. Probably not the greatest mare to ever grace the track, but she was a monster! Definitely a great horse that deserves more credit.
hard to argue with perfection.some horses get there some miss by inches,it's what separates the great ones from the wanna

  • horseracingnation · Footlick - the Zenyatta/Rachel comments are going to be moved off the home page soon, as nearly everyone is tired of the arguing. · 1437 days ago

Has anybody noticed that she had about a 15 day interval between races? I find that to be very challenging to stay undefeated at any level when races are so close together. She was definately the State Hero.
Pepper's Pride had a wonderful career. She won all her races. Good for her. She raced against nothing but New Mexico breds and does not belong on any list of "greats" although her accomplishment truly was wonderful.
  • racecaller · Winning consistently is hard to do... regardless of what types of horses you are running against. · 1441 days ago
  • morethanready111 · Of course it is. I completely agree with you. That's why I praised her. She still isn't an all time great...not even close. But I sure would have been happy to own a horse like this! · 1440 days ago
