Buck,on your balmy 45 degree day. Enjoy watching this gal at Gulfstream Stake today.Ready to Act should be a handful from the rail. But i will be rooting her for the win. That is my box. This is Shug at his best. This is the cocky Shug who goes into the Stakes race off of a Maiden score. Lets hope he is correct. Enjoy the pool area.

  • tmallios1 · Thats a new one for me Matt.A big head,i guess it will come in handy on a photo finish.Just hope the nose is as proportionate as the head you describe · 301 days ago
Hey, Buckpasser, you were correct about this filly. She looked pretty good in her run. She stalked before taking the lead (slow pace) and trouncing in the stretch. I watched the race close to the finish line and Party Now looks very good. Statistically, it was an average performance. I'd like to see her take on better pace pressure next out and see how she can handle it. You were correct, she is very talented and she should improve even more in the next few months.

  • Buckpasser · Rafi. Thanks for scouting her. I liked her at Keeneland. She was blocked in her debut, but closed well to finish second. With a little better luck that day, I honestly think she would have won. She has a great pedigree as does Ironicus, a Janney horse. Ragtime who needs, IMO, some more time has a wonderful pedigree. Was third in his debut. But I think he will definitely improve. · 325 days ago
  • rafirox · Yes, very nice filly, Buckpasser. Hope she continues to improve, which under Shug, she should. · 324 days ago
Very nice turf win.
  • buckpasser · She had finished second in her first start at Keeneland after some traffic. Another nice one for Shug and Janney and the Phipps family. Ironicus is another good one that won this week too. Also Ragtime finished a promising 3rd in her first race too. · 326 days ago
  • buckpasser · She is a daughter of Tiznow out of a Seeking the Gold mare. The Janneys own her entire dam line. · 325 days ago
