  • DeadHeat · The only thing with Boys is that they are being a little too tentative with him. Trick, they obviously knew was the same horse, and with how they are being with Boys compared to Trick, i fear that they think that Boys is not the same horse he was at two. · 144 days ago ·

When I talked to Michael Matz after the 2-year-old stakes on Thanksgiving weekend, he said he would not trade. What could be better than picking the Derby winner six months before the big race? • linda.mitchellbender · Hansen! I have to stick with with the colt I picked the moment I saw his first two races @ Turfway, to win the JV. in the Breeders cup. No one thought he could win, they gave him no respect. his was done to Secretariet and Sunday Silence. Sunday Silence didn't any real respect until he had won both the Ky. Derby & the Preakness. I very possibly could be wrong, but Hansen wears blinkers and didn't see Union Rags until he was right on top of him. He will be smarter next time. All you have to do is look at the photo before the wire and see the look in his eyes. · 162 days ago ·

  • railbird33 · IMO- the distance in the Remsen is the key. Stretching out and winning develops the bottom at a mile & an eighth as a 2YO. That helps in the campaign to get the mile & a quarter distance - on the first Saturday in May. · 162 days ago ·

The bunch of crazies who backed Unbridled Song is a case in point when the animal had a substantial hoof crack and was bet down to favoritism. Forget the newspapers and listen to the realities given out as regards the colts. · 175 days ago ·
