  • jay s. · Kaitline..."Do I think Swale was Slew's best son?" Oh Lord, it's so hard to say. Slew had so many great ones. But YES, I do think Swale was the best offspring of Slew. I've talked with travel_vic about the 1984 BCC. He hints, as I do, that Swale was better than the exceptional Slew O' Gold. It's so hard to say. but Swale represents GREAT dreams unfulfilled. · 1383 days ago

  • jay s. · Thanks again cocoa. He raced 25 times at age three. All starts were at La Downs, Fairgrounds, and Oaklawn, except his last. It was at old Sportsman Park. · 1388 days ago
This was my boy. Born on April Fool's Day, 1978. 40 Starts - 2-6-5 for $22,387. I got him when he was retired at 10 years old. So friendly and gentle. We loved him very much.

  • Buckpasser · Jay s. not sure if this is similar, but I have seen harness horses with a brand under the mane. The great harness mare Moni Maker had one. · 1388 days ago
