What the Nation is saying about One Sock Down...

Philly Boy I wish you well in the pride you are feeling but clearly you have lost all your money investing wth FLS. My best advice is to shelve the pride and keep your money.
looking sharp and great workouts!
As I posted 4 months ago, this horse is still AWOL. Connections fist said breathing issue, then a pulled muscle, typical drivel from the ponzi scheme of FLS. Sorry to offend if you are a partner but guaranteed you have lost all your money investing in any animal from this barn. One Sock Down no different than anything they bought past or present. Again, if the horse is healthy he should be a good allowance horse up to 7F.
  • Philly Boy · You sound bitter. What are you bitter about? You recieved bad information. it was never a breathing issues ever with this horse. By the way, you don't invest in horses. It's about the pride of being an owner. Skin in the game is what it is. Time will tell if OSD comes back, no different than any horse who gets injured. Try and smiling and stop being neagtive. · 5 days ago ·

he is Awesome!
why is this horse ranked so high?
kentucky derby here we come......
I got feeling that we are going to see a lot more OSD real soon. Allowance, Coolmore and maybe the Preakness?
They call him Izzy. As in Izzy still on this planet? Seriously, a very nice one. Is De here or Dere?

Connections now say breathing issue caused his terrible effort in Allowance race. So the horse can't breathe and is not even bred to go 2 turns. Impossible to recommend.
  • redskinrob · you are incorrect......one sock down got caught in the gate and a rib pulled afterwards, still fought hard thru it. He will destroy them next time! · 130 days ago ·

It's hard to believe that for the 2nd time in just 3 years we are off on the Triple Crown Trail. The last time it was Uptowncharlybrown and this time One Sock Down. Thank you all for the kind words following his spectacular debut on December 8th. He earned a Ragozin Sheet number of 10 in his debut and a Beyer of 83. The horse he beat Todd Pletcher's Ecabroni is a very nice horse too. We will point One Sock Down toward the Grade III $400,000 Holy Bull Stakes in January.

  • rosemariefioreroberts · Can you please address the issue as to why OSD was raced a second time when a few days earlier his work outs showed breathing issues? He was put into that race ? His regular rider and Jockey both had breathing issues when working him out. · 132 days ago ·

One sock had breathin issues on the 28th of Dec and the 3rd of JAN. This was posted on a site that looks at their workouts. He wasnt scheduled to run that race until the last min. he wasn't in my opionion up for a race when he was expieriencing breathing issues. He blew Ecabbronnie away in his maiden race. The horse that raced that day was very much not himself before he broke from that gate.
One Sock Down is no pretender. Dimwit, he should not have been in that race. Bad decission by his Trainer. He was not himself and they knew it and raced that horse. Shame on the desion makers
  • eddieenderle · What should the trainer have done? There was no 7F race at gulfstream to stretch him out so they had to go to a mile. This horse is solid but i think he might be more of a sprinter · 134 days ago ·

had a bad break out of gate, still hit the board and he is clearly awesome!
And from Once Sock to the critics but a sock in it.
Turned out to be a pretender when dusted by a jogging Discreet Dancer and others. May be ok at sprinting but forget distance races.
Was at the race & Discreet Dancer ruled the day. OSD was not the horse I saw in his first race. There's more to OSD than what was shown today.
Someone please tell me what is special about this horse? Hes only race once, so almost untried.

  • Floridaf · He has had three, but only won one of them. He may need some time to find himself. Check out the blog I wrote about him: http://www.horseracingnation.com/blogs/Floridaf/Son_of_Kentucky_Derby_Winner_May_Be_One_to_Watch_123 · 142 days ago ·
