Older Comments about Oklahoma City...

I'm sure Oklahoma City's probably not considered the top of the Ballydoyle juvenile food chain, and he's not even really a very big 2yo, but I sure admire his toughness and gritiness. In a span of 2 weeks he's ran 2nd in the G2 Beresford Stakes in Ireland and he's traveled to Newmarket twice and won the $500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy and today he finished 2nd in the G3 Autumn Stakes. 3 races over a 2 week period is asking a lot of any horse, but it's really asking a lot from a 2yo and Oklahoma City has really put his best foot forward in all 3 races. Kudos to this tough, little colt!!
Oklahoma City wins the $500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy at Newmarket for Aidan O'Brien and team Ballydoyle just 6 days after finishing 2nd to stablemate Geoffrey Chaucer in the G2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh in Ireland. Pretty impressive to see a 2yo come back and run that well off such a short turnaround.
Happy to see OK City get his win today. The equipment change (adding visor) made a big difference evidently as he romped by 13 lengths! Nicely named colt....
praying for everyone in Oklahoma.
