  • arazi · Wow, strong words, Cigar. But I do think you're on the right track. While you can throw the race out for Buddy's Saint, it's not a good sign that he didn't run a lick. And while we're talking FOY, let's not forget that EVERYTHING went Eskendereya's way. Great horse, but let's not forget that he sat second off a slow pace in a dream spot on the outside while two of the top players in the race were crunched in traffic trouble. · 1514 days ago ·

  • Medlocke · Who in the world would have thought that a horse like Furthest Land, that was able to beat the 2008 B.C. Dirt Mile winner in Midshipman, and the Irish 2000 Guineas and St. James Palace Stakes winner Mastercraftsman, would finish dead last to Neko Bay, Spurrier, Nownownow, Bold Chieftan, Goldsville, and Cherokee Artist on the very same track just two month's after beating those Grade 1 winner's in the 2009 B.C. Dirt Mile? Racing is a funny game sometimes. · 1557 days ago ·
