What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Notability...

Interesting that Calumet Farm's original silks are displayed on the Gulfstream feed: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/race/USA/GP/2014/1/11/6/race-6-msw-at-gp-on-1-11-14

  • tmallios1 · Henry D was the best. Was the talk of Gotham when Cielo pulled the impossible Daily Double. The Met Mile/Belmot Stakes. Yet with all the greats he owned.None was better than the horse that was named for his hometown. That would be Danzig. Unfortunately his career was cut short. Might of been one of the all time greats. I was lucky enough to be at Belmont Park when he broke his Maiden as a 2yo,just missing the track Record. Back then,we knew nothing of comparing horses or Future Book Bets. All i know is that the only question on our minds was. Who will run 2nd in the Derby to fill out the Exacta. He was that awesome that day. · 178 days ago ·
Calumet Farm's maiden by their prized English Channel went five furlongs in 1:01.23 today (19/59)
After an uncharacteristically slow start following his first Eclipse Award season as a trainer, Dale Romans gained momentum in the second half of 2013 largely on the strength of promising young horses in his barn.Read More
Looks very promising for Calumet.
Chuck and Maribeth Sandford’s Almost Famous, one of the nation’s most tantalizing 2-year-old prospects, landed post position No. 1 and heads a field of 10 juveniles entered for Saturday’s 87th running of the $150,000-added Kentucky Jockey Club (Grade II) at Churchill Downs.Read More
