Trainer Ian Wilkes is optimistic about Neck n' Neck's return to the races. Wilkes told Mike Welsch, "The surgery went well and the prognosis is for him to be able to return next year at the same level he was at when injured. The recovery process will be a slow one--four months before he can return to training--so we're looking at a second-half campaign for 2013."

  • mkstorm · Shack seems to run well at Churchill, but he has won only one race beyond a mile. He'll probably face stiffer competition in the Cigar Mile, but he's never ducked competition before. So I think he should try the Cigar Mile. He'd love to see him win his last race. · 188 days ago ·

It might have been for their aspiration to go west, where there was nice purse money. But, it seems, that First Dude got the better of Game On Dude, before succumbing to injury.
