Kelly Breen made his first trip to New Orleans this January. He felt right at home when he saddled Pants On Fire to a narrow miss behind Wilkinson in the Grade III Lecomte Stakes, and his return in February resulted in a runner-up finish for Sleepless Knight in the Grade III Fair Grounds Handicap. ...Read More

  • brent.austin.neikirk · I concur! I love this guy and his daddy was/is one of my favorite horses of all time! I really hope EA runs well this weekend and I think he will do just that. I also like Wilkinson and his daddy, LDK. Left is the other that I'm going with in the LA Derby. · 431 days ago ·

Nacho Business has a stamina-oriented pedigree. His sire won up to a mile, but he receives stamina influences from his sire Blushing Groom and damsire Halo. Nacho Business’ stakes placed dam is a half sister to the Personal Ensign (G-1) heroine, Pompeii.

  • arazi · Wow, that changed quick! I guess that's what racing secretaries need to do - put out a press release saying you have a 5-horse field and all of a sudden everyone jumps in. Not that Elite Alex's connections made a bad move, but it's funny that they scratched from an 11-horse field saying it was too big and ended up with 13. For what it's worth, I really like Nacho Business in this spot. · 435 days ago ·

If I wish you good luck with this one,I hope it's not a bad omen, I wished you luck with Sweet Ducky ,then he was sold surprisingly to Chechen. Well here goes, Good Luck! Between you and I he's nice but he's not Berni or Atomic, so really good LUCK! Missing the fun around the barn and I'M Sorry! Wishing I had never had a broken wrist, also. .
D. Wayne Lukas, the last trainer to complete a Louisiana Derby and Kentucky Derby double with Grindstone in 1996, will have a chance to replicate that feat this year with one of two colts under consideration for the March 26 $1 million Louisiana Derby.   “I’m either going to bring the colt tha...Read More

  • ajump08 · J P's Gusto should not be forgotten in the Rebel. Many will look at the likes of Astrology, Sway Away, Elite Alex, Alternation, and Archarcharch; and throw this one out saying he's simply not a two turn horse. J P is very versitile, and arguably could have been the best of the Southwest with his troubled trip. He's obviously thriving in Arkansas with his bullet work today in 59.40. · 440 days ago ·

  • ajump08 · Good to see Heron Lake with another work (he defeated Arch Traveler in his maiden debut 1/15). Dialed In may be Zito's now three year old, but Heron Lake could be the one for the summer. Hopefully both live up to the promise they've shown early. As for that Allowance race, I think Nacho Business is the better of the two. He was just victimized by that :49 and change 1/2 mile, and a slight lack of experience. · 456 days ago ·

  • horses · This race should produce a Florida Derby starter or two. It should also give us early in the day clues to the Fountain of Youth. Cool Blue Red Hot was well beaten by Soldat in the slop, and Nacho Business beat Bowman's Causeway last time, so watch how those two fare. I am also intrigued by Washington's Rules.
