After a brief stint at KESMARC, My Happy Face has returned to training. Owner Michael Dubb mentioned the Black-Eyed Susan as a possible start for his 3-year old Tiz Wonderful filly, but trainer Rudy Rodriguez stated that it wasn't likely that she would be ready in time for that particular race.

  • rafirox · Tcglory. I just got excited for a second, since I'm a big fan of this filly. @Floridaf. That is something that I like about her. Teen Pauline was a typical speedball, and it wasn't a shocker (because of her running style) that she was a good 2 yr old. Than, Dreaming of Julia is the best filly, IMO, in the crop. And than, you know my feelings about Kauai Katie as a sprinter, the best I've seen since probably Safely Kept... She's only loss to quality fillies. My Happy Face is likely off the Kentucky Oaks due to a virus. She arrived at KESMARC on Thursday, February 28, and will probably be there 10 to 14 days.

Right now, she is my favorite filly. She is improving, and is very competitive. My only question is: Can she run outside NY? That is yet to be seen... Although, all the BIG three year old filly races are in NY.
