Older Comments about Moth...

On the heels of her 3rd in the G1 English 1000 Guineas and 4th in the G1 Epsom Oaks, the Aidan O'Brien trained Moth finished a very disappointing 8th of 11 as the beaten heavy favorite in the listed Naas Oaks Trial Stakes in Ireland. I'm assuming this race was being used as a prep for Moth to run in the upcoming G1 Irish Oaks, but she didn't look remotely the same filly today at Naas that she had at Newmarket or at Epsom. Coolmore did win the race though with the Aidan O'Brien trained and Duke of Marmalade bred Venus De Milo in her 2nd lifetime start.
  • On The Gallop's · The Duke is starting to turn into a fine stallion. I still have to think that Talent and Secret gesture a leaps and bounds the best in the Irish Oaks field. · 1098 days ago
