What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Miss Netta...

I found out this filly is retired for a pretty long time now. She's stabled at Candy Meadows Farm and was reportedly bred to Hard Spun for the 2013 season.http://www.cheyennestables.net/horses/miss-netta-3945.html
  • tcglory · thanks for the update she was on my follow list when she raced and im glad they picked a great sire like hard spun to breed to · 67 days ago ·

Here are the ITM winners from last week: 1. • rorschach1992 · Ahh, sorry about that! Here's my picks: 3yoM: Hansen, I've liked him from the get-go, and think his juvenile was no fluke, he is better than Union Rags and the lot. My dark horse for this award is Creative Cause. 3yoF: Weemissfrankie or Grace Hall. I think as they mature they'll overtake My Miss Aurelia. Older Female: Awesome Feather, if she keeps winning she'll be unstoppable. Royal Delta or Zazu; tremendous potential in both, and both willl be more mature next year. Grace will have to deal with more mature runners in this year's 3yo crop. They'll probably overtake her. Older Male: I like Pegasus, but I want to see how he looks upon returning before throwing him in. So my current pick is Game On Dude, if he stays consistent, he'll be the one to beat. Turf Horse Male: Agreed Mr. Commons, he ran great in the BC Mile, 5th not beaten too much, and could be a force. Another with great potential. Also want to see if Acclamation keeps his form. He'll be in the running if he does. Turf Female: Star Billing, Shirreffs could take both divisions with the two very talented 3yos. She's got as much talent as Mr. Commons. HOY: I'm going with Hansen, I've loved him all fall, and his BC was super impressive. If he keeps his form, he'll be the on to beat. I'm hoping he shows us great things next year. He's my Derby pick, and the one I'll be watching next year. But I think Awesome Feather could be dark horse for HOY, should she keep up her winning ways. No opinion on the 2yos yet. · 531 days ago ·

My Miss Aurelia brings an imposing 3-for-3 record into Friday's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs. The Steve Asmussen runner has earned strong numbers in each of her three wins around one turn including a dazzling display of speed in the G1 Frizette at Belmont Park last time. She loo...Read More

After weeks of consideration, the connections of Rattlesnake Bridge are "likely" to pre-enter the 3-year-old in the Breeders' Cup Classic, trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said Sunday. • ahnuckolsjr · It's kind of funny, but I raised 2 of the two year-old fillies under consideration for this year's Juvenile Fillies race, Miss Netta and Heart of Destiny. They were both very interesting fillies to watch grow up and work with every day. Miss Netta was very opinionated and would let you know that she, not you, was going to determine what she did and did not do. I had the privilege of selling her at Saratoga to Everett Dobson and his Cheyenne Racing Stable. Randy Bradshaw told me that she still has her ways and that you have to convince her that what you want her to do was her idea first. She is really a neat filly, one of the nicest I've ever been around. Heart of Destiny, who I still own with my old college classmate, Jamie Greene, was a different type of filly. She was always a little taller than her contemporaries and just kind of looked through you as if to say "I see things way beyond you!" She was a real competitor in the 30 acre pasture she and Miss Netta played in. I used to love to look out my office window and watch them run and play in their field. Heart of Destiny would always go to the lead and when they would toyn and head back in a different direction, she would always go back to the front. Another filly that grew up with these two was second to Samolia Lemonade in her 1st start. Her name is Conquesta, an Empire Maker filly. Given the company that she was competing with she may be fun to watch as she competes for Mr. Marc Keller. · 578 days ago ·
