I got a question for ya'll. Do you think a upcoming stallion would get more mares when his sire is dead or when his sire is still living but with a higher stude fee.

  • Sullivan · Alive. The quality of the mares won't be as good but he becomes the cheap alternative to his dad · 365 days ago
  • EP Taylor · Example: So You Think is going for 55,000, his sire High Chaparral is going for 60,000. Who would you choose?....I go with the proven sire first. If he passed like a Dynaformer or Montjeu, you run for his progeny. · 364 days ago

Two excellent runs in one week, I like Medal Count in the Derby. Will be watching his Churchill works closely.

Im happy he won dale has been so high on this horse from day 1 and really loves him.
Wins the Transylvania!
Despite finishing in a dead heat for the win with Drover Road last out on the turf, trainer Dale Romans stated that it's likely Medal Count will return to the dirt in his next start. The son of Dynaformer could go next in the G2 Fountain of Youth.
