Masked Marvel

John Gosden told the Racing Post in England today that his recent G1 St. Leger winner, Masked Marvel, will ship next to Woodbine to run in the G1 Pattison Canadian International Stakes on October 16th. Gosden said depending on how Masked Marvel comes out of the Canadian International, he may also be at Churchill Downs for the BC Turf? Gosden said sometime ago that although his King George winner, Nathaniel, has an automatic "win and your in" slot for the BC Turf from winning the King George, his star 3yr.old would almost certainly stay in Europe for the rest of the season. Masked Marvel, however, would have to be supplemented into the BC Turf. Unless he win's the Canadian International Stakes? Which, if memory serves, is also a Breeders Cup "win and your in" race for the BC Turf? Should Masked Marvel win at Woodbine, his supplemental and entry fees, plus his travel expenses would be paid by the Breeders Cup to come to Louisville.
