What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Maram...

Chad Brown, the 32-year-old trainer who grew up 10 miles from Saratoga Race Course in Mechanicville, has had a dream start to the Saratoga meeting. After 16 days of the 40-day meet, he’d saddled nine winners. That would be a solid total for the entire meet, so it’s no wonder he’s well ahead of all b...Read More
  • BrianZipse · It's a little surprising to have one of my favorite turf trainers this young, but Chad Brown certainly fits the bill. I always give his horses an extra look in a grass race. I'm expecting big things for him on a national level. · 181 days ago ·

  • medlocke · What a super race-mare Prince Khalid Abdullah has in Proviso. Having now reeled off three consecutive Grade 1 wins in a relatively short time in America. It could have actually been four Grade 1 wins if her victory at Keenland in the Spinster Stakes had stood. But the Stewards D.Q.'d Proviso in that race and placed her second. Moving Mushka up to 1st. Proviso has definitely gotten better and more seasoned with age. This mare from Great Britain has raced, and raced well, the likes of Zarkava and Goldikova back when all were younger in 2008. But it's been in America that Proviso has really flourished and come into her own. · 556 days ago ·
