sjuwill · Scott excellent article...I too agree that the Breeders Cup should be held at as many racetracks as possbile as this is a testament to all of racing, and just like your city got the Super Bowl it is because only of the dome, although we will see them coming to a cold weaher city for the first time, I do believe the Breeders Cup people only want the best weather possible although that should not be the case....keep your dream alive and keep pushing for Indiana racing, I for one am all for it · 21 days ago ·

I attended it at Churchill this last year for the first time and it was so exciting, literally giving me goose bumps! To have it held right here in my home state would be amazing. Floridaf · Very poignant piece, Scott. I believe that if I had been in your shoes, meeting and speaking with Randy Moss would have stood out the most (especially since I'm a Falcons fan anyway). But the point is that as much as I love football, horse racing is the only sport that can and has moved me to tears. I'm rooting to bring the sport to my home state of Georgia. In the meantime, I believe that with the added interest in Indiana racing lately, it is only a matter of time before the Breeders' Cup is run there. · 21 days ago ·

buckpasser · Thoroughbred racing complains about why they are losing their fan base, but they don't do much to help the racing fans. When the BC was started it was suppose to go to different tracks to encourage more racing fans. Yes there were problems with this, but keeping it only at 3 tracks is terrible. Racing relies so much on slots to get people in, that they are in for a rude awakening when slots money is withdrawn. Horse racing MUST start selling the horses and the excitement of the racing experience. If not, they are going to have the fan base of ping pong. · 14 hours ago ·

CraigBradshaw · i sure wouldn't call it a lie. i would call it salesmanship. mlb actually has the world's best baseball players, that's why the champ. series is the world series. the bc classic displays the world's best 'dirt tb horses' for the distance. for 3 years, the tvg bc mile featured the world's best turf horse at that distance in goldikova. every great stakes horse in the world is invited, and even given incentives to come. · 9 hours ago ·
