  • rafirox · I can't honestly say I liked Dullahan as a racehorse, whatsoever, but I'm still saddened by his death. Thanks for the article, Ashley. · 261 days ago ·
  • El Kabong · Nice job Ashley. I too was a big fan of this marvelous colt. I'm at a loss over how this happens to such a well taken care of and healthy horse like Dullahan. I was really looking forward to little Dully's running down the pace for years to come. He'll always be a part of my Derby fever thoughts each year. I loved rooting for this horse, and something about his character was just appealing. At the Breeders cup last year a sported my Dullahan baseball cap knowing full well he was not going to pull any surprises. I stood along the rail of the Paddock at Santa Anita snapping pictures and just marveling that I was only few feet from him. He was beauty. I'll really miss him and always curse the fact that we didn't get to see his kids chasing down the speed. Thanks again for great read about our beloved Dullahan. · 260 days ago ·

Rest in Peace Live Lively.
Since closing with a furious late rush to finish fourth in a 5 ½ furlong state-bred race at Penn National in her career debut, Princess of Sylmar has come a long way, baby. From modest beginnings, can a Kentucky Oaks champion come? I have reason to believe that the answer may be yes, and at most att...Read More

  • amino998 · The fact that she began her career late in her 3 yo year may have had something to do with it. ;) · 462 days ago ·
  • darlene · I,personally, like that a filly would have to face males prior to Derby to get in As stated the fillies that have won Derby had faced males before the win I don't think this was a mistake or oversight by CD · 462 days ago ·

  • Peppermint Paddy · Did not appear both fillies beat much. Those running behind DOJ looked to be finishing 2-3 seconds behind, none of which want over a mile, at this point. Nice win by both, obviously with the win at GP, DOJ will be more favored. She looks like a jr. Royal Delta! · 466 days ago ·
  • digidot · Except she has Pletcher as her trainer, I would be surprised if she makes it through the year. · 466 days ago ·
