"Little Belle" by Shakis/ I dreamed you - as I drove my truck like a hellbound train - to keeneland - to watch the horses run/ Jimi singin' "Freedom" on the stereo - the scent og dogwoods everywhere-you should've been right here beside me - slowin' me down some/ I toasted you with a whiskey 'n sweet tea - in the midst of a half drunk crowded bar - before my horse won -and transformed me into a tipsy messiah - I was golden as the bourbon in my glass/ I walked down to the stables - where all the King's noble horses neigh - and saw you in the eyes of the princess "Little Belle" - as she lay her head - in the outstretched palm of my hand / I greeted old friends from Mexico - and India - Florida and Canada - as I dreamed all the while - of my "Queen of the Turks" / I talked of you - and the horses sensed heaven near - sharing my contentment in this kingdom of hearts - where the boots are all dusty - and no dream ever touches the ground.
