  • Rossington · Cigar, I agree. Outside of Rachel Alexandra in 2009, Stardom Bound and Justwhistledixie were the only two other fillies that looked to really show very much promise. A very disappointing run in the Distaff for Justwhistledixie. With Stardom Bound now retired, and Justwhistedixie not as of yet having show anywhere near the form she displayed early in her 3yr.old season, make's wonder if Rachel Alexandra will be able to move forward and maintain anywhere near her 2009 form having raced such a grueling campaign? · 1156 days ago ·

Put Alan Garcia back on this filly, and put her back racing on conventional dirt tracks, and Justwhistledixie will be back in the winner's circle before you know it. IMO. Garcia has ridden this filly to most of her early successes. Justwhistledixie didn't look that great to me on synthetics in the El Encino Stakes, but she did look really good, and very competitive in November at Aqueduct in the race that she was very narrowly beaten by another excellent filly in Sarah Louise. All that Justwhistledixie needs is another confidence building win, and I really think she'll be right back at the top of the filly and mare division with Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra. TJMO.
