2 races back hey said he hated the SA dirt, so they put him with a SA based trainer and now have put him back on the dirt. He looks like a legitimate G2 or G3 contender on synthetic, not sure why they keep killing his confidence by running him in were they are.
No clue what they are doing with this guy, either retire him or put him in his proper distance/class.

  • Northport · And? I am talking about recent successful European influences in the US from sires who were trained hard on the gallops, the way horses should be exercised. Your haphazard collection of sires based in England, Ireland, France, Australia, Canada, the US and Japan doesn't make sense · 83 days ago ·

  • cocoa2 · And I am saying while some of the horses are successful the majority are not popular nor given a good book and therefore if Bullet Train does not do some amazing things in his first crop his second may be much smaller than his first. · 83 days ago ·

Jaycito worked 4f in :48 (3/17) at Santa Anita on 2-9.
take a gander at this: "Jaycito update: I want to thank @JulienLeparoux for wrapping up and protecting Jaycito according to @Midnightlute and Mike Mitchell. Jaycito hates SA dirt his instruction was if you don't think he is getting a handle of the track just protect the colt. Jaycito preffered surface is Synthetic and possibly Turf. After discussions with @Midnightlute and his former trainer. Justin and I decided to help a new and upcoming trainer @simon_callaghan to give him Jaycito as a challenge to get him back and show his old form as a Grade 1 winner at 2. I would like to Thank @Midnightlute and Mike Mitchell for taking very good care of our horse. Good Luck @simon_callaghan looking forward for fun and safe racing in the future"

Justin Zayat reports that all is well with Jaycito. He came out of the San Pasqual sound and will be put back on the turf or synthetics.
Coil figures prominently in Saturday’s Grade II, $150,000 San Pasqual Stakes as the 5-year-old son of Point Given will try to stretch his speed to 1 1/16 miles. Read More
