  • cleclair1994 · i meant his performace was monsterous. but i guarantee at the end of the year he will be top 3 year old. shackleford cant get 1 1/4 miles. animal kingdom is hurt so he cant be champ 3 yr old. hopefully coil will come to the travers and if he does he will beat stay thirsty and will prove he is best. baffert knows when he has a good horse. he gets him to close. something pletcher doesnt know how to do with a good horse. he lost any confidence with me in good horses last year in how he handled quality road. · 300 days ago ·

Mystery horse in the Haskell. Has run at seven different tracks, won at four of them. Has worked exclusively at Parx/Philadelphia, up until the last two works, where he worked on turf at Monmouth. Has only finished off the board once in 10 races(which was the race that he inherited a new trainer). Only ran a two turn race once. Only rival he has beaten in this race was Pants On Fire(in the Count Fleet early in the year, running 2nd to Monzon, POF ran 3rd). Last race, he made up 2 3/4 lengths in the stretch on a muddy track in a 7 furlong race. If this trainer knows what he's doing, he's masking this horse very well, and since we've had so many different winners this 3 year old year, why not go with the longest shot on the board?
